The single-greatest need within an athletics department is the resource to provide tuition, room and board, books and academic support to student-athletes. All general scholarship gifts to Aggies Unlimited impact each and every Aggie student-athlete and are included in a member’s annual giving level.
Purchasing season tickets in certain locations at Maverik Stadium and inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum is a benefit of making an annual unrestricted contribution to Aggies Unlimited.
The Big Blue Scholarship Fund seating program consists of per-seat annual donation requirements in addition to the price of the season ticket. Donation requirements vary depending on the desired seat location.
All annual donations generated from the program are considered unrestricted gifts to Aggies Unlimited and are included in a member’s annual giving level.
The Blue A Society (BAS) provides the philanthropic leadership for Utah State Athletics. The purpose of the BAS is to increase philanthropic revenues for USU Athletics, supporting operational needs and capital priorities.
A minimum pledge of $25,000 over a five-year period or donating an annual cash gift of $25,000 or more qualifies one as a Blue A Society member. USU Athletics will establish its top priorities, but Blue A Society donors have the opportunity to invest in the fund(s) of their choice, including Aggies Unlimited, Merlin Olsen Fund, capital funds, endowments, sport gift accounts, etc. The BAS will position Aggie student-athletes for greater success in the classroom, in competition, and in life after graduation.LEARN MORE
The Leadership Circle of Aggies Unlimited is an exclusive recognition program for Utah State’s top level of annual donors to athletics. Establishing an endowment for Utah State Athletics through Aggies Unlimited affords a donor the unique opportunity to provide scholarship support in perpetuity. A minimum commitment of $25,000 must be made to start an endowment. Donors can also opt to make a contribution to various existing endowments.
Gifts to the Merlin Olsen Fund are restricted gifts that are specifically used to enhance the position of Utah State Football by providing resources for recruiting, coaches’ salaries and operational support. Gifts to the Olsen Fund are reflected in a donor’s annual giving level, but cannot be used for scholarship seating benefits.
This is a great way to support a specific Aggie sport program. These gifts enable coaches to supplement their operational budgets for recruiting, equipment and various other items that help our student-athletes reach their full potential on the playing fields.
By including Utah State Athletics in your estate plan, you can have an impact on the future generations of Aggie student-athletes. Priority Points will be given to donors who establish irrevocable planned gifts.
